So I was out on a Tuesday night after class for a couple of beers with some friends for someone's 21st birthday, which in Rome, and Europe in general, is pretty much an uncelebrated event! So we celebrated! Anyways! So we went to a bar some of the people knew off of Piazza Navona called La Botticella. So we're hanging out having a good time when the bartender/owner comes back and says, "Hey guys. I am short a person to work tonight. I need a girl to work, would any of you do it?" Knowing me, I decided this guy wasn't going to kill me and he seemed pretty cool, and hey who doesn't need some extra cash, so I said yes. Well, Giovanni, the owner, loved me, just as everyone else does...right? And in turn he asked me to come back and work on Friday and Saturday nights, and I ended up working Sunday too. So in four nights I have made 300 euro which is about $415 US. I am pretty damn stoked about this.
This weekend Wales was playing Italia in Roma, and there were something like 20000 Welsh in the city center this weekend. It was insane!!! And this next weekend Italia is playing Ireland in Roma, on St. Patty's Day! AHHHH! Its going to be crazy fun! Now don't worry I am still getting plenty of sleep and all of my work done!
